Responsibilities:


  • Schedule and post shifts for Operations, Production and Engineering staff and freelance
  • Calculate overtime and penalties on a weekly basis and submit to Payroll
  • Generate payroll reports
  • Track vacation
  • Coordinate the staffing of technical rooms and studios
  • Emergency after hours on call ability a requirement
  • Timecard management
  • Billing and work order building
  • Rotation building and training schedules as required
  • Time management and administrative tasks

Qualifications:


  • 25 years minimum experience Scheduling in a union environment
  • Experience using Media Pulse or comparable Scheduling systems are an asset
  • Works well in a teamcentred environment and client services
  • Working knowledge of collective agreements
  • Proven scheduling experience in a multifunctional environment
  • Strong analytical skills, organizational skills, detail oriented
  • Working knowledge of a studio and postproduction environment
  • Strong mathematical and problem solving ability
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Knowledge of Montreal TV collective agreement an asset
  • Knowledge of television broadcasting
