Are you looking to be more involved with your clients? If so, we have a terrific opportunity for you We have an opening for a Manager of Special Projects, and we are looking for an outgoing, dynamic, confident individual to join our diverse ONBusiness team.


This position is responsible for carrying out special projects as defined and determined by the Shareholders and will include working on client assignments within each of the Divisions of ONBusiness.

The Special Projects Manager is expected to perform duties with a high degree of independence, initiative and judgment.

You must possess strong communication skills as you will be required to meet and present results to clients, without Shareholder inclusion.

This position reports directly to the Shareholders.

Special projects based on the needs of the various shareholders and divisions will include but not be limited to:


Accountable For:


  • Assistance in the Tax Services Division, including tax planning and research;
  • Specific duties & assignments as required by Business Advisory Division;
  • Preparation of business valuation plans;
  • Preparation of cash flow projections;
  • Personal financial planning projects;
  • Perform financial and system analysis;
  • Conduct research on different strategic initiatives;

Qualifications/Skills, Experience, and Personal Attributes:


  • Strong focus on processes is an asset
  • CPA having handson experience in accounting, corporate & personal tax preparation;
  • Solid knowledge of, and skills in, corporate tax;
  • Solid knowledge of, and skills in, personal tax;
  • Solid knowledge of, and skills in, accounting & bookkeeping;


  • IT skills

  • Office 365/Microsoft office (Word, Excel), QuickBooks, CaseWare, TaxPrep, ;
  • Ability to work independently;
  • Excellent time management skills (organization & prioritization);
  • Professionalism, strong organizational, verbal, and interpersonal communication, and problem solving/analytical skills
  • Ability to perform within time constraints and in meeting deadlines
  • Detail oriented, productive, efficient, ability to multitask
  • Strong work ethic, ability to adhere to strict industry accounting standards and ONBusiness policies
  • Ability to deal with confidential information
  • Must be responsible, accountable, dependable and display a positive attitude and professional manner
