    Description

    • Provide operational support for GN's LAN/WAN and satellite network infrastructure.
    • Troubleshoot carrier outages, WAN issues, and complex connectivity problems.
    • Perform infrastructure tasks including cabling, racking, patching, and equipment replacement.
    • Monitor network health, triage alerts, and perform Tier-2 network troubleshooting.
    • Provide remote or onsite support to GN communities; travel may be required.
    • Maintain operational runbooks, inventories, and documentation.
    • Assist engineers with deployments, upgrades, and modernization initiatives.
    • Participate in operational reviews and contribute to process improvements.

    Requirements



    • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; or equivalent experience.
    • 3-5+ years experience in network operations, LAN/WAN support, and infrastructure deployment.
    • Certifications such as CCNP, Network+, or equivalent preferred.
    • Experience working with satellite WAN environments is an asset.
    • Ability to administer and troubleshoot Cisco routing, switching, and firewall components.
    • Strong diagnostic skills across wired/wireless, WAN, and satellite connectivity issues.
    • Ability to work independently in remote locations.
    • Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities.
    • Ability to coordinate with network service providers.
