    Meet Fresh Prep — Western Canada's most convenient and sustainable meal kit delivery service.

    As a certified B Corporation, we make convenient eating healthy and sustainable for the communities we operate in. We source quality local ingredients whenever possible, and deliver in reusable, recyclable and compostable packaging. We offer 10 chef-created meal kit recipes each week, with options for many lifestyles and preferences including vegetarian and vegan.

    In the past few years, we have collected many awards and recognition for our continued pursuit in being a leader in both customer and employee satisfaction. Some awards include The Georgia Straight's Golden Plates, 23rd and 24th Annual Best of Vancouver award for Best Meal Kit Service, BC's Top Employers 2023, Top SME 2023, and Climate Smart.     • What You'll Be Doing

    At Fresh Prep, every day may be different While we are currently in "growth mode", things are becoming more and more streamlined. This means that your first day may not look like your third or your tenth, but each day you will be doing some of the following:

  • You will be working your shift in an area where the temperature is maintained between 6-8 degrees celsius.
  • The main activity in this department is the processing of single various ingredients, for a meal plan, into single portion size packaging.
  • You will be required, based on a timed standard, to clean, cut, portion, measure, weigh and package a variety of vegetables, cheeses, sauces and other various ingredients, into their appropriate packaging.
  • You will be required to breakdown fresh produce using food processing equipment or other provided tools.
  • You will be required to work in a safe manner and to assist in maintaining a clean, healthy, food-safe production facility.

    • What We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience in food manufacturing, warehouse, or high-paced environment preferred.
  • Able to work in a high-paced warehouse environment with strict deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a temperature controlled environment. The warehouse is kept at between 0 to 10 degrees Celsius.
  • Able to stand on your feet for 8 hour shifts.
  • Ability to lift objects up to 30 lbs (13 kgs).

    • Ce que vous ferez

    Chez Fresh Prep, chaque jour peut être différent Alors que nous sommes actuellement en « mode croissance », les choses se rationalisent de plus en plus. Cela signifie que votre premier jour ne ressemblera peut-être pas à votre troisième ou à votre dixième, mais que chaque jour, vous ferez certaines des choses suivantes :

  • Vous travaillerez dans une zone où la température est maintenue entre 6 et 8 degrés Celsius.
  • L'activité principale de ce département est la transformation d'ingrédients uniques, pour un plan de repas, en emballages en portions individuelles.
  • Vous devrez, selon une norme chronométrée, nettoyer, couper, portionner, mesurer, peser et emballer une variété de légumes, fromages, sauces et autres ingrédients divers, dans leur emballage approprié.
  • Vous devrez décomposer les produits frais à l'aide d'équipements de transformation des aliments ou d'autres outils fournis.
  • Vous devrez travailler de manière sécuritaire et contribuer au maintien d'une installation de production propre, saine et sécuritaire pour les aliments.

    • Ce que nous recherchons

  • Une expérience antérieure dans la fabrication de produits alimentaires, dans l'entrepôt ou dans un environnement à rythme élevé est préférable.
  • Capable de travailler dans un environnement d'entrepôt au rythme élevé et avec des délais stricts.
  • Confortable à travailler dans un environnement à température contrôlée. L'entrepôt est maintenu entre 0 et 10 degrés Celsius.
  • Capable de rester debout pendant des quarts de travail de 8 heures.
  • Capacité à soulever des objets jusqu'à 30 lb (13 kg).
