- Strategy development: Lead the definition and execution of the product strategy that aligns with the company's overarching business objectives.
- Product roadmap: Craft and monitor the product's roadmap, overseeing the development and launch of new features in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
- Market analysis: Regularly conduct market and competitive analysis to inform business strategies and adjust based on client feedback and market conditions.
- Marketing and Sales alignment: Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales to develop action plans, communication strategies and sales tools to effectively market the product and achieve sales targets.
- Stakeholder engagement: Engage with various stakeholders, including clients, partners and internal teams, to gather insights, promote the product and ensure alignment across the organization.
- Resource management : Guide and mentor product owners in nurturing leadership skills focused on empathy, effective communication, cross-team collaboration and performance management, to inspire and enhance team performance.
- Performance metrics: Analyze sales results and customer feedback to refine marketing strategies, product offerings and customer satisfaction goals. Drive processes to help the organization lead with data.
- Leadership: Provide leadership across the organization, ensuring that all teams are aligned with the product vision and objectives.
- Bachelor or College degree in Business Administration or Information Technology or equivalent combination of academic and experiences. An MBA is considered an asset.
- At least 5 years of proven experience in product management within a technology-driven business is required.
- Candidates must have prior experience in and a good understanding of the IT Channel and MSP (Managed Service Provider) industry.
- Proficiency in both spoken and written English; French proficiency is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with key vendors.
- Experience in data analysis, forecasting and setting performance metrics.
- Must be self-driven and capable of operating autonomously.
- Prior experience or knowledge about marketplace development is an asset.
- Familiarity with PSA (Professional Services Automation)/RMM (Remote Monitoring and Management) tools will be considered an asset.
