We are looking for a detail focused individual to work alongside our Edmonton team A Street, Edmonton) as well as our Distribution Warehouse team in Nisku (Unit # Ave, Nisku) in the role of Warehouse Labourer.

Hours of work are Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This is a temporary position ending in September or October.

Responsibilities:

Safely load and unload goods from trucks, unpack and store goods
Count and inspect received items and ensure they match with paperwork, report any discrepancies
Organize and clean work and inventory spaces
Pick and prepare orders for customers and branch transfers
Adhere to company safety programs and safe work practices
Other warehouse duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Warehouse experience is an asset
Must be able to meet the physical requirements: lifting up to 23kg (50lbs), working in cold/hot and/or dusty environment, use ladders/stairs, bending, kneeling
Safety conscious attitude with the willingness to adhere to our Safety Program
Attention to detail with strong organizational skills
Adaptable and selfmotivated
Good communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work in fastpaced environment
Ability to work well in a team and independently
Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol Tests
Must be bondable and authorized to legally work in Canada
