ABOUT THE ROLE


As the Procurement Specialist focusing on Process Development, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping and optimizing our procurement workflows.

Your primary responsibility will be to design, build, and document procurement processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and compliance standards.

Collaborating with stakeholders, you'll gather requirements, design workflows, and create comprehensive documentation to guide procurement activities.

While familiarity with Dynamics 365 Business Central is advantageous, the main focus of this role is on process development and documentation.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and align procurement requirements and objectives.
  • Design and develop efficient, compliant procurement processes.
  • Build workflows within Dynamics 365 Business Central to support procurement activities.
  • Create detailed documentation of procurement processes, including SOPs and user manuals.
  • Conduct training sessions for stakeholders to ensure adoption of new procurement processes.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve procurement processes based on feedback and best practices.
  • Perform quality assurance reviews on contracts, including terms and conditions.
  • Conduct bid evaluations using best practice methodologies.
  • Coordinate and track information using MS Office suite tools.
  • Analyze business requirements and recommend improvements.
  • Plan, coordinate, prepare, and control procurement documentation.
  • Monitor contract implementation against established goals and objectives.
  • Develop and implement procurement controls and reporting procedures.
  • Provide support and guidance to stakeholders on procurement processes and Dynamics 36
  • Collaborate with IT and ERP vendors to address technical issues and implement enhancements.
  • Ensure proper documentation and accessibility of procurement processes.
  • Stay informed about updates in Dynamics 365 Business Central impacting procurement processes.
  • Actively participate in quality improvement initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of procurement, supply chain management, or process development experience.
  • Strong understanding of procurement principles, practices, and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge of inventory management.
  • Experience in designing and documenting procurement processes, preferably in healthcare or similar industries.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Dynamics 365 Business Central, is beneficial.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Detailoriented with strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite: Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
