NATURE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

REPORTING
The Crate Builder reports directly to the Crating and Packing Supervisor of Toro Glasswall Inc. He/she is responsibly for general labour work, crate and frame building and any other duties as required. The hours for the day shift are 7:30am to 4:00pm.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES

Build wood crates and frames, and close the skids
Clean work area and equipment
Various other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be able to work in a safe manner with little supervision
Operate manual or semiautomatic hand tools, such as drill/screw gun, reciprocating saw, etc.
Ability to use and read a tape measure
Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds
Experience working in a plant/manufacturing environment, and with wood or framing
