The CLAC Saskatoon Member Centre is seeking a proficient and highly skilled individual to fill a permanent, full-time role as an Administrative Assistant.
Key Responsibilities:
Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing, proofreading, and formatting a variety of memos, forms, letters, and reports including collective agreements
- Minute taking
- Filing documents
- Composing simple, routine letters
- Preparing packages for employee signup, membership meetings, organizing drives, etc.
- Frequent use of CRM system, including but not limited to: Adding & updating member records and running reports
- Making copies of or scanning correspondence or other printed materials
- Daily backup for Member Centre Welcome Specialist (Reception) when required
- Scheduling appointments, taking notes, and other administrative work that may include:
- Ordering and stocking office and cleanup supplies
- Postage and fax machine operation and maintenance
- Arranging courier services
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned
Qualifications:
Completion of high school or equivalency education
Skills and Experience:
- A minimum of 1 year experience in customer service, administration, or human resources
- High proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and typing skills.
- Able to demonstrate a friendly and polite telephone and personal manner, punctual and reliable
- Experience with database entry, scanning and document management (electronic and physical)
- Experience with website forms and navigating website tools (including social media)
- Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships
- Ability to function in a busy, challenging environment and remain composed under pressure
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to handle confidential information with diplomacy and strict adherence to confidentiality

This position reports directly to Ryan Timmermans, Regional Director
