As an integral part of Intel's new IDM2.0 strategy, we are establishing Intel Foundry Services, a fully vertical, standalone foundry business.

In this role you will create emulation models from a combination of RTL design and transactor models for new SoC designs. You will be a member of the big-box emulator team which enables RTL system level validation and enable pre-silicon SW development and validation.

Responsibilities may include but not limited to:

Develop and implement emulation models for ASIC designs
Work with design and verification teams to ensure accurate emulation
Support validation and FW driver teams who use the emulators for their role

The ideal candidate should exhibit the following behavioral traits:

Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, as well is good written and verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work cross-geo/site when needed to accomplish results.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.

What we need to see (Minimum Qualifications):

Bachelors in Electrical Engineering or related field and 3+ years of experience or masters degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and 2+ years of industry experience.
3 + months experience in RTL design, verification, and embedded FW
3 + months experience with Verilog, C, C++ and Python languages.
3 + months experience debugging and problem-solving skills.
3 + months experience with DDR, PCIe and CXL standards.

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

Big box emulator knowledge such as the Synopsys Zebu, or Cadence Palladium or Siemens Veloce.

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in Canada:CAD 85, ,200.00
Salary range dependent on a number of factors including location and experience

Working Model
