THE POSITION
As a key member of our M&A team, you will drive the acquisition process for vertical market software investments from start to finish:

You will:

  • Work with our corporate development team to identify vertical market software businesses that meet our strategic criteria and specific metrics
  • Engage with owners, shareholders, advisors, and other stakeholders
  • Analyze target company financial/operational information, form investment strategies, build detailed valuation models, and make investment pitches to senior investment and operating teams
  • Assist with the preparation and negotiation of offers
  • Participate in the transaction execution process from starttofinish, including: performing commercial and financial due diligence, managing external advisors, facilitating management meetings, and coordinating internal approval processes
  • Draft Investment Memorandums, Due Diligence reports, and Financial Models

THE QUALIFICATIONS

years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, corporate finance or transaction services at a top-tier accounting firm, private equity, management consulting, or other relevant fast-paced and analytically driven investment role.


  • Distinguished academic performance with an undergraduate degree in business/finance/accounting.
  • Exposure to the software industry and CPA/CA/CFA are benefits, but not requirements.
  • Fluent in English. Fluency in additional languages will be considered an asset as we operate in numerous countries worldwide.
  • A strong understanding of valuation and financial modelling concepts.
  • Solid understanding of company financial information, can review and understand financial statements, can understand financial procedures and have a general understanding of GAAP concepts.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, and ability to work in a collaborative manner with the senior management team of acquisition targets.
  • Advanced time management, attention to detail, organizational, strategic thinking, and analytical skills.
  • Strong telephone/video call communication skills and capable of establishing and building rapport remotely.
  • Adaptable and flexible, with an ability to respond to changing work priorities, pressure and demands.
  • Must be selfmotivated, able to work autonomously and think independently, and open to learning and sharing new ideas.
  • Team player who enjoys a highperformance culture.
  • Willing and able to travel internationally on occasion.
