Chef de Partie

Adamo Estate Winery and Hockley Valley Resort is are looking for a professional Chef de Partie to amaze the patrons with excellent cooking according to the chef's recipes and specifications.

Chef de Partie Responsibilities

  • Prepare menus in collaboration with colleagues
  • Ensure adequacy of supplies at the cooking stations
  • Prepare ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc.)
  • Follow the guidance of the executive or sous chef and have input in new ways of presentation or dishes
  • Put effort in optimizing the cooking process with attention to speed and quality
  • Enforce strict health and hygiene standards
  • Help to maintain a climate of smooth and friendly cooperation

Chef de Partie Requirements:

  • 3+ years or related experience; ideally in a Resort environment
  • Registered apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
  • Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure

Salary:
$23.00 per hour

  • Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mono, ON L9W 5X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
