JOB SUMMARY:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Shop upkeep including cleaning, parts storage, inventory and organization.
- Complete preventative maintenance on GSE per the GSE Manager and preventative maintenance program (oil/filter changes etc.)
- Troubleshoot GSE challenges and report to the GSE Manager.
- Track and provided reports on GSE performance and deficiencies.
- Liaise with 3rd party support companies.
- Attend all required training sessions and successfully complete training courses.
- Decal installation per company requirements.
- Touch up painting, cosmetic work and overall appearance standards to be met.
- Data entry into Hippo (Asset Management Program) for GSE.
- Admin responsibility for Hippo.
- Dialogue with local GSE support team members (if available).
- Actively participate in company safety programs.
- Work as a team member in a safe, efficient, professional manner.
- Follow safe disposal requirements for hazardous products.
- Adhere to published uniform standards and requirements.
- Follow all safety guidelines and safe workplace procedures.
- Other duties as required from time to time, as provided my management.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have 23 years previous mechanical / small engine / diesel experience.
- Must have valid driver's license with clean abstract.
- Ability to speak, write and understand the English language.
- Previous airline experience would be an asset.
- Must have sound understanding of parts inventory and cataloguing.
- Must have excellent team player competencies.
- Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of Google, Office and Hippo Asset Management.
- Must be able to work with mínimal supervision, and/or in a team environment working varied and/or split shifts.
- Must be willing to adapt to the changing nature of aviation.
- Must be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
