Here's what we're looking for
As the IT Procurement Manager, you will oversee all phases of procurement for the IT department.

Your primary role will involve managing relationships with vendors to secure the best prices while staying abreast of emerging trends and opportunities in the technology sector.


This position ensures that the IT department acquires the necessary equipment at competitive prices while maintaining strong vendor management and clear reporting lines for the team.


Your daily responsibilities

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for the IT department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals;
  • Identify opportunities to optimize procurement processes and reduce costs while maintaining quality;
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with vendors to negotiate the best pricing and terms;
  • Evaluate vendor performance and address any issues or opportunities for improvement;
  • Oversee the negotiation, preparation, and management of contracts with IT suppliers;
  • Manage vendor contracts, service level agreements (SLAs), and performance metrics for credit reporting, IT infrastructure, and cloud services;
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards;
  • Manage the acquisition, deployment, and tracking of IT assets, ensuring accurate recordkeeping and lifecycle management;
  • Work with the finance department to develop and manage the IT procurement budget;
  • Monitor and report on procurement spending, identifying costsaving opportunities;
  • Collaborate with IT teams to understand their procurement needs and provide support;
  • Ensure that lowerlevel employees know who to report to for supply needs;
  • Stay informed about emerging trends and technologies in IT procurement;
  • Identify potential procurement risks and develop mitigation strategies;
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulations, and industry standards.

Your skills and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, IT Management, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in IT procurement;
  • Proven experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement strategy development;
  • Strong track record in managing procurement budgets and identifying costsaving opportunities;
  • Familiarity with IT infrastructure, software, and cloudbased solutions;
  • Proficiency in procurement and contract management software;
  • Relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Procurement Professional), CPPM (Certified Procurement and Purchasing Manager), CIPS (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply), or CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management);
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities;
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance related to IT procurement;
  • Experience in implementing procurement policies and procedures.

$60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
