Description
Central Plains Co-op is hiring a Yard Attendant on a temporary basis, onsite in Landis, SK. This position is seasonal with the possibility of turning into full-time.


What you'll do:

  • Operate and maintain all delivery units including; delivery and pickups at farms or other locations, and assist in product shipping and receiving.
  • Loading & unloading chemical and other Agro products.
  • Coordination of customer service including but not limited to moving bins, and crop protection products, loading purchases, and fulfilling customer requests within the yard.
  • Operate and maintain Crop Protection Warehouse to AWSA standards.
  • Ensuring a safe work environment for customers and staff.
  • Contribute to the overall success of the Agro Team Business Plans.
  • Basic cardlock maintenance.
  • Other duties as required.

The Team:

You will report to the Landis Agro Supervisor and together you will provide our communities and customers with the best service and products.

Small town life close to the big city Landis, SK is just over an hour from Saskatchewan's biggest city, easy for a quick weekend getaway.

Landis has a great community, with a skating rink, community complex-curling rink facility, and a local restaurant.

Our Agro team helps to feed and grow Western Canadian communities by distributing products and services to Co-op members and customers in feed, crop supplies and fertilizer.


Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Agriculture and:

  • Have a valid Class 5 Driver's License. Having a G endorsement is not required but would be considered an asset.
  • TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift certifications training will be provided to the successful applicant.
  • You are honest and trustworthy.
