Shipping/ Receiving - Material Control Clerk

Koss Aerospace, a global leader in the high-quality production of aircraft components is currently seeking a full-time permanent
Shipping/ Receiving - Material Control Clerk - to join our manufacturing team on the day shift, which is from 7:30 am to 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.

This position is responsible for all functions related to operating a forklift, as well as shipping and receiving products and helping with production needs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Must be a certified forklift driver to operate forklifts or other equipment to load, unload, transport, and store goods.
Verifies type and quantity of material received. Completes required documentation
Maintain internal computerized recordkeeping systems
Maintains Electronic Records through the use of Excel
Performs transactions as required using the Company ERP/Database
Stores received materials and delivers to destination department per schedules
Maintain Raw Material Stores
Maintain Finished Goods Stores
Ensures complete and accurate shipments of finished goods to customers
Prepares and packs product as required
Performs a variety of quality checks to ensure standards and specifications are met
Perform and document all inspections of forklifts
Troubleshoots and resolves basic to moderate operating issues involving inventory
Must be able to perform basic math calculations as required
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
A robust and symbiotic relationship with the Operations team is necessary
Must wear all required PPE as required, including safety glasses, gloves, and seatbelts
Complete all required paperwork in a neat and professional manner
Leadership and ownership of the department, job responsibilities, and job function
Manage all functions related to cleaning and sanitizing their work area

Minimum Qualifications:

Minimum High School; associated degree or higher preferred
2 years of manufacturing experience preferred
Experience with EPR systems required
Forklift experience/ or Overhead crane experience is an asset
Previous shipping and/or receiving experience is an asset
Must have a working knowledge of Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
A desire to succeed and a good work ethic
Good verbal, written, and multitasking skills, cando attitude
Highenergy, flexible, selfstarter, attention to detail
