    Job Title: Senior Corporate Law Clerk

    Job #:16557

    Job Type: Full-time, permanent

    Location: Toronto

    Salary: $80,000 - $120,000

    Remote Flexibility: Hybrid Remote Flexibility

    Client Profile

    Our client, an asset management company, is currently looking for a Senior Corporate Law Clerk. This company has an excellent culture and a lot of career development opportunities.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    - Review and/or draft a variety of standard contracts and resolutions;

    Assist in managing the corporate governance and corporate maintenance, including the coordination with external law firms who undertake such work;

    Assist with regulatory compliance programs, transactions, and special projects;

    Assist with litigation discovery requests, KYC requests, and other filings;

    Formatting, transmitting and processing documents through Docusign and Diligent;

    Providing administrative assistance to the SVP, Secretary & General Counsel and other legal staff;

    Assist with other administrative duties as needed.

    Requirements:

    8+ years' experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department in a corporate/commercial role;

    Law Clerk or paralegal diploma from an accredited institution;

    Strong proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel), and;

    Excellent communication skills and a team player with a willingness to learn.
