    Description

    As an Associate with the Shari Foster & Associates Wealth Management team at IG Wealth Management, you will have the opportunity to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that provides industry-leading training and support, encourages personal growth, and fosters the achievement of excellence.

    In 2023, our practice was ranked in the top 100 across Canada and was named to the firm's illustrious President's Council Recognition Program.

    We are looking to grow our team with the addition of a successful full-time financial advisor, or an individual with a minimum of 5+ years' experience.

    The ideal candidate is looking for the next level in their career and an opportunity to deepen their financial planning relationships.

    Drawing on previous experience, you will be responsible for growing the assets of an established, client-centric financial planning practice. The role is based full time in-office. Identifying new business opportunities with high net-worth individuals

    Interacting with clients daily through incoming client calls, meetings (both virtual and on site) and providing information on products, services, and strategies.


    Completed industry licensing – MFDA or IIROC
    Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) or willing to obtain
    A financial planning designation, such as CFP or PFP designation considered an asset

    Percentage of practice ownership and assured value will be based on the percentage of assets transitioned relative to the overall size of the practice.
