The Role
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
- Preparing project security requirements that support the design development process, and contributing to the authorship of deliverables according to program needs;
- Reviewing and understanding contractual performance RAMS and security requirements;
- Performing independent 'peer review" reliability calculations and maintenance calculations to verify product design;
- Defining maintenance and LCC strategy to ensure design reliability and optimize maintenance costs;
- Reviewing suppliers' RAMS documentation and addressing noncompliances with the support of the project team;
- Developing RAMS demonstration plans and FRACAS plans and procedures in cooperation with Project Management and the field teams;
- Ensure that Systems Assurance/RAMS processes are being followed throughout the project lifecycle by all involved actors;
- Perform various analyses as described in the EN50126 V-Cycle model or as required by MIL-STD882.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Available to work in Canada immediately without visa sponsorship
- P.Eng. in Ontario or British Columbia preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years working in a Systems Engineering/Systems Assurance/RAMS environment with preference to those with rail transit experience
- Experience in the Systems Engineering lifecycle is an asset, including typical tools for requirements development (for example, DOORS) and modeling tools for analysis
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills

The expected compensation range for this position is:
$65, $93,230.50.
