YOUR MISSION
The Data Analyst, Strategy and Revenue position is imperative for the planning and analysis of our business.

This position will support the Customer Success, Accounting/Finance and Operational teams by constructing, summarizing, and communicating models across multiple business units and departments.

TimePlay is on a growth trajectory, where data analysis plays a key role in achieving strong business results.

Your mission is outlined in the following duties:

  • Help lead the development and execution of the TimePlay's product and pricing strategy while working with the customer success, sales, and finance teams
  • Analyze sales and customer trends to identify opportunities to grow sales revenue and optimize internal processes
  • Work closely with key stakeholders across the team to analyze financial data, revenues, expenditures, and ROI per business unit and help drive the continued development of an analytical, datacentric approach
  • Leverage data and analytics to lead daytoday pricing and inventory management decisionmaking across all sales channels to help optimize revenue
  • Prepare financial and business reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing results of key levers, models, and market/industry trends
  • Generate budgettoactual comparisons and monthly client reconciliation; summarize and communicate results to the leadership team
  • Build and maintain reports/dashboards that help support sales efforts and track the performance of sales campaigns and initiatives
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the strategy and analytics by developing new capabilities and staying up to date with industry trends, and helping to grow and maintain data systems and infrastructure
  • Prepare compelling data visuals and communications, PowerPoint presentations, and other mediums to convey key messages to multiple levels of the organization that enable rapid decision making
  • Prepare business cases, KPI frameworks, roadmaps and pipeline summaries
  • Analyze the company's performance as well as contribute to shaping the strategic plan and support business operations through performance optimization and efficiencies to maximize revenue

  • Strong math and financial ratios skill with the ability to present metrics and ratios
  • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques
  • Advanced skills in Excel; experience with BI tools, databases, and statistical analysis software an asset
  • Postsecondary degree in a quantitative discipline
  • 35 years experience in a business analytics, management consulting, or a related field
  • Strong data collection and analytical skills
  • Strong math and financial ratios skill with the ability to present metrics and ratios
  • Proficiency in financial modeling techniques
  • Advanced skills in Excel; experience with BI tools, databases, and statistical analysis software an asset
  • Understanding of and interest in statistics, data management and financial data analytics, and/or related areas an asset
  • Ability to work closely with crossfunctional teams and management
  • Good business acumen
