    About the Job

    Position Profile and Description:

    Provide inside sales support to the Sales team with Marketing, Pricing, Documentation, and Critical analysis of sales data against forecasts. The Sales Coordinator will work closely with the Inside and Field Sales teams by providing administrative support throughout the sales cycle, and helps facilitate sales, marketing and business development activities.

    Duties, Responsibilities, Authorities:

    With regard to Pricing:

    · Implement strategic pricing plans to optimize profit for new and existing products

    · Implement an annual price increase strategy including communication with the sales team and facilitating upload of new prices to the database

    · Implement List Prices in coordination with Sales Manager and General Manager

    · Research and investigate issues to ensure that information that drives pricing is current

    · Build strong partnerships with all staff through clear and consistent communication while actively engaging to understand customer needs and specific pricing challenges

    · Analyze account pricing proposals for impact of cost increases as required

    · Periodically audit static prices for candidates for revision or removal

    · Log properly approved static pricing adjustments

    · Updating the static pricing sheets in the database

    · Prepare and disseminate pricing information across the organization

    · Use investigative skills to determine actions required to update/correct pricing issues

    · Periodic Custom and Private Label Pricing Review

    With Regard to Sales Support:

    · Critically analyze territory performance against forecast and work with each Territory Manager to achieve their forecast

    · Critically analyze Customer freight terms, and work with each Territory Manager to minimize their Net Freight cost

    · Request quotes from Distribution Partners when required

    · Provide customer quotes on a spot basis

    · Prepare formal Tenders in coordination with Sales Manager and Territory Managers

    · Participate in Sales Team meetings Receive and efficiently and accurately process phone, email, fax and web orders in ERP software

    · Utilize excellent interpersonal skills to develop strong customer relationships.

    · As an important part of the Sales team communicate relevant customer and market information to the team

    · Assist Territory Managers and Sales Managers in completion of Custom Product orders as per (711) Custom Product Procedure

    · Back-up Customer Service as required

    With regard to Business Development & Marketing:

    · Participate in business development efforts in market or region-specific territory

    · Work with territory managers to target new customers and initiate contact

    · Review customer purchases and perform gap analysis

    · Plan, design and initiate email and social media campaigns to grow sales

    · Support website update and product page enrichments

    · Communicate relevant customer and market information to the team

    With regard to Documentation:

    · Responsible for the completion and coordination of all customs and shipping documents for International orders

    · Liaise with Operations Manager to complete Vendor Questionnaires

    Qualifications:

    • College or post-secondary degree, chemistry or science related discipline preferred
    • 2+ years of experience in sales support, territory management, customer service or inside sales
    • Experience working in the chemical or laboratory industry considered an asset
    • Past experience working with CRM such as Odoo, Salesforce or Hubspot
    • Past experience with social media management and content creation considered an asset
    • Strong Interpersonal and Relationship Development skills
    • Excellent Microsoft Office Skills – specifically Excel
    • Experience dealing with customers in a Business-to-Business environment
    • Fluency in English required with working proficiency in French or Spanish considered an asset
    • Strong initiative and ability to work proficiently in a team environment as well as independently
    • Ability to time manage, remain organized and prioritize work
    • Superior attention to detail and accuracy ensuring positive customer outcomes
    • Enthusiastic, dependable and action oriented, with keen willingness to learn and improve on existing skill-set
    • Knowledgeable about the sales process and commitment to deliver excellent internal and external customer service

    Working Conditions:

    Remote – Home Office Based. Ideally located within driving distance to Georgetown Head office. Must be located in Canada

    Some travel may be required.

    Annual Salary for this position is 60,000 CAD to 70,000 CAD annually and will be eligible for company profit sharing program. (Actual salary will vary and will be based on various factors, such as skill, experience and qualification for the role.)
