Negative Results Team-Lead located
Remotely.

We are a national provider of workplace medical testing and assessments based in Ayr, Ontario. We have Occupational Health Clinics in Kitchener, Sarnia, Mississauga, Calgary, Nisku, Edmonton and Fort McMurray.

Primary duties and responsibilities:


Operational Functions:


  • Work in conjunction with the Supervisor to ensure the department operates efficiently and effectively on a daily basis;
  • Work in conjunction with all department managers, supervisors and team leads to provide efficient flow and process across the organization;
  • Ensure services are compliant with all applicable legislation;
  • Ensure best practices are followed across the department;
  • Follow DriverCheck's policies and procedures and ensure employees are as well;
  • Create and implement procedures;
  • Monitor, review and maintain the effectiveness of processes;
  • Meet with key representatives of client organizations as required;
  • Act as the liaison with e2 champion
  • Assist in developing and implementing new service offerings, working in conjunction with appropriate coworkers across the company;
  • Handle projects as assigned;
  • Operate successfully in a very fast paced and hectic environment;
  • Work independently and in a team environment;
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the company

Department Specific Functions:


  • Ensure all staff complete dataentry and customer relations tasks accurately and efficiently;
  • Ensure all tasks and responsibilities are covered on a daily basis; reassign staff as needed;
  • Ensure department KPIs are met
  • Ensure staff KPIs are tracked and met;
  • Be responsible for logging on afterhours to ensure work volume levels are kept to a minimum;
  • Communicate with clients to ensure a high level of customer service;
  • Other job duties as may be assigned

Staff Training and Development:


  • Mentor and train staff
  • Onboard and train new employees
  • Arrange for equipment and help staff with set up;
  • Create a welcoming environment and introduce new staff to various team members
  • Introduce our various software systems we use eManda
  • Review and revise procedures as needed;
  • Inform Manager of training progress
- train and offer support to existing staff through workshops, shadowing with others on the team and other depts;
- schedule one on one coaching on a regular basis for further development of all staff


Team Lead HR Functions:


  • Directly supervise all negative results staff;
  • Prepare agenda for team meetings and work with Positive Expert Advisor to prepare workshops and training as required.
  • Provide backup to the staff in the negative department;
  • Offer leadership and guidance to staff;
  • Perform monthly and yearly employee
    performance reviews;
  • Ensure all shifts are covered;
  • Arrange time off (vacation, leaving early, coming late, sick days)
  • Communicate with payroll and HR
  • Arrange training of all positions, new services;
  • Deal with issues or problems with staff, including staff errors;
  • Assist with hiring and terminating staff as needed;
  • Assist in organizing staffing schedules;
  • Document all HR interactions;
  • Be oncall after hours for employee questions;
  • Supervise or lead the employees of the department in a manner consistent with DriverCheck's culture

  • Experience the medical testing field is considered an asset
  • Leadership experience is considered an asset
