How You Will Affect the Business:

With input from and working closely with Account Executive / Client Service Broker, develop new business submissions for prospective clients and renewal submissions for accounts to be remarketed
Work with Account Executive / Client Service Broker to identify client exposures and recommend coverage options
Conduct thorough marketing exercise, including effective negotiation of terms, comprehensive quote comparisons, and review of policy wordings
Lead the development of insurance proposals / summaries of insurance as relating to Executive Risk, including key coverage enhancements and/or restrictions
Maintain strong relationships with key underwriting contacts, and remain current on Executive Risk marketplace developments, including but not limited to entry of new carriers, changes in carrier appetite, and movement of key contacts
Assist Client Service Broker with handling Executive Risk aspects of daytoday client files
Provide exceptional ongoing service to clients through active collaboration with Operations and Sales teams
Lead education and training initiatives for the branch with respect to Executive Risk, including direct training of staff where needed
Attend client meetings with Account Executive on accounts with large or complex exposures

Education & Experience:

Secondary School Diploma required, College or University Degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 5 years' Executive Risk Insurance experience in either a broking or underwriting capacity, with comprehensive knowledge of exposures / lines of coverage / markets
RIBO license (or ability to obtain within 3 months of hire), along with maintenance of continuing education hours.
CIP, CAIB, CRM, RPLU or other relevant certifications/designations highly desired.
Proficiency in EPIC an asset; proficiency in MS Office a requirement
Minimum 5 years' Commercial Risk Insurance experience in either a broking or underwriting capacity, with comprehensive knowledge of exposures / lines of coverage / markets
