Seniors Outreach Coordinator (Casual position)

The Outreach Coordinator will address the social and emotional needs of older adults through
assessment, support, and connecting to resources based on individualized case plans. This position will work collaboratively with other workers and organizations to provide services, as well as identifying gaps in services and advocating for the needs of clients.
The goal of the program is to support the wellbeing of the senior and enhance their wellness in the long term. This program is delivered with
commitment to equity, inclusion and honouring cultural and social diversities.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Registered Social Worker with ACSW
  • Relevant degree or diploma
  • Assessment, interpersonal, problemsolving and decisionmaking skills required
  • Selfmotivated; able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer literacy including Microsoft Office
  • Proficient communication and collaboration skills
  • Police Information Check including Vulnerable Sector is required
  • Vehicle required; valid class 5 driver's license and $2 million auto liability insurance
  • Experience working with older adults and volunteers is an asset
  • Experience working with diverse cultures is an asset
  • Working knowledge of community resources

$23.32-$28.82 per hour
