    Job Description

    What is the Opportunity? As a Cloud Security Software Engineer, you have a key role in enhancing RBC's cloud security posture, while promoting best security practices and improving developer experience.What will you do?
    • Establish core services and security controls in Azure, AWS, and GCP clouds.
    • Design and implement cloud security solutions with automation and TDD principles.
    • Apply SRE practices to improve operational processes.
    • Collaborate with various engineering teams to align on technical strategies.
    • Create security coverage reports to enhance the cloud security strategy.
    • Lead and contribute to integrated end-to-end solutions.
      • What do you need to succeed? Must-Have:
      • Knowledge of modern software development, DevOps, and SRE practices.
      • Proficiency in Python, Go, TypeScript, or other modern languages.
      • Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
      • Skills in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines.
      • Experience with infrastructure as code tools like ARM, CFN, and Terraform.
      • Working experience with container tools and platforms.
        • Nice to have:
        • Experience with observability tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, Datadog, etc.
        • Cloud or Security certifications.
