  • As a Corporate Consultant on the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team with Corporate Planning and Performance, you will support various programs, projects, initiatives and activities as part of The City's risk management efforts. You may also be involved in other corporate wide projects related to business planning, performance measurement, risk management and other emerging strategic initiatives.

Primary duties include:

  • Identify, develop, and prioritize opportunities for advancing the Enterprise Risk Management Program.
  • Support, consult with and lead interdepartmental project teams and initiatives.
  • Support management of partner relationships.
  • Prepare key deliverables such as reports, presentations, and business cases.

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree with 4 years' experience in risk management, project management and/or management consulting; OR
  • A degree with 8 years' experience in risk management, project management and/or management consulting.
  • Knowledge of management tools such as environmental scanning, analysis and reporting, performance measurement and riskbased decision making would also be considered an asset.
  • Success in this position requires excellent strategic, critical thinking and creative problemsolving skills and the ability to adapt within a changing environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills are required including the ability to build trust, influence and resolve conflicts within a team environment.
  • Preference will be given to applicants who demonstrate project planning, project management, consulting skills and project team leadership skills in a dynamic environment with the ability to prepare and present complex reports and presentations.
