experienced in residential renovations and/or new home building.

DUTIES INCLUDE:

  • Receives direction from the Lead Hand, Site Supervisor and Construction Manager
  • Gather materials for carpenters to handle on job sites.
  • Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
  • Keep job sites equipment/machines serviced.
  • Assist with install/frame foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as:
  • wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials when required.
  • Assist with fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim.
  • Assist with erecting scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
  • Assist with positioning or dismantling of forms for pouring concrete.
  • Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers.
  • Assist in performing demolitions by
  • Measuring, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
  • Read, interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches or building plans
  • Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using measuring devices, hand tools, electric saws, hammers, levels, miter boxes, pneumatic nail guns, sanding machines and squares.
  • Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Conduct Daily Hazard Assessments and Weekly Tool Box Meetings.

Salary:
$23.00-$27.00 per hour
