DUTIES INCLUDE:

Receives direction from the Lead Hand, Site Supervisor and Construction Manager
Gather materials for carpenters to handle on job sites.
Clean or prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards.
Keep job sites equipment/machines serviced.
Assist with install/frame foundations, walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs using materials such as:
wood, steel, metal, concrete, plastics, and composites of multiple materials when required.
Assist with fit and install window frames, doors, door frames, door hardware, interior and exterior trim.
Assist with erecting scaffolding, ladders for assembling structures above ground levels.
Assist with positioning or dismantling of forms for pouring concrete.
Mix, pour, or spread concrete, using portable cement mixers.
Assist in performing demolitions by
Measuring, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed.
Read, interpret and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches or building plans
Shape or cut materials to specified measurements using measuring devices, hand tools, electric saws, hammers, levels, miter boxes, pneumatic nail guns, sanding machines and squares.
Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment.
Conduct Daily Hazard Assessments and Weekly Tool Box Meetings.
