    Description

    Based out of the Electrical Division Edmonton, (EDE) location, the Material Handler - Shipping and Receiving will report to the Senior Manufacturing Supervisor.

    The Material Handler - Shipping and Receiving will be responsible for loading and un-loading material, moving, handling, and organizing all incoming and outgoing materials.

    Current openings is for day shift. Co-ordinate and take direction from Senior Material Handler
    Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts, forklifts, cranes or pallet jacks.
    Prepares goods and materials for PCR/E-House department, including: staging, loading, and documentation.
    Maintain cleanliness and organization of all material and inventory supplies in the PCR/E-House production area.
    Ensure quality by following standard work instructions and identifying any potential risks to product quality.
    Ability to learn and adhere to all manufacturing policies and practices to ensure adherence to ISO requirements.
    Must have a basic command of the English language, both written and verbal.
    Basic level computer skills in MS Office; including Excel experience.
    Valid forklift certification with a minimum of 1-2 years' or prior experience.
    Overhead crane experience or certificate is considered an asset.
    Due to the safety sensitive nature of this position successful candidates will undergo pre-employment testing.
    Safety sensitive position in a temperature controlled manufacturing or industrial environment with occasional outside activities.

    Must be able to work from all type of ladders (step ladders, "A" frame ladders and all size extension ladders).
