Position Title:
Quality Assurance and Testing Technician
Acting as the QualityAssurance andTestingTechnician, you will primarily conduct electrical tests on transformers, inspect products, diagnose quality issues, and fill out non-compliance reports.
Perform routine and "type" electrical tests on transformers (surge, temperature rise, noise level) to ensure compliance with the established procedures; forward the product to the next stage using the appropriate lifting equipment (occasional client presence).
Respond to adhoc requests/inquiries from coordinators, employees, and engineers regarding quality issues that occur during production, or those involving product improvements and prototypes.
Measure equipment and diagnose quality issues during production.Work experience in an organization with a strong commitment to health, safety and the environment;· Knowledge of metrology and plan reading an asset;· Experience in a manufacturing plant an asset;· General computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook and Access).
