Summary:

Responsibilities:


  • Counting and packing materials into boxes.
  • Assisting with preparing orders for shipping.
  • Labelling boxes for inventory.
  • Part Time machine operating (training will be provided if needed).
  • Inspect and measure finished workpieces to determine conformance to specifications.
  • Assist with preparing and maintaining production equipment for operation.
  • Handle and move materials and pieces, using lifting devices as required.
  • Removing scrap metal from the shop.
  • Handling weight up to 50 lbs.
  • Knowledge and ability to use various hand tools and power tools.
  • General labor duties as assigned.
Skills / Qualifications

  • Experience in a Laborer environment would be an asset.
  • Ability to operate a forklift is an asset.
  • Multitasking.
  • Work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organization skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude.
  • Physically fit.
