Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Intern - Marketing (Trade) position will gain experience in all areas of book marketing and receive exposure to the broader publishing teams.

Responsibilities:
The intern will focus in these areas of book marketing:
Trade and Hardcover Marketing:
- Assisting the Marketing Managers with campaigns (such as helping to come up with ad
- Attending Imprint meetings and taking minutes
- Helping the team prepare for Sales Conference
- Library Marketing:
- Assisting the team on Librarian outreach
- Helping with Library conferences
Digital Marketing:
- Assisting with the Digital Ad tracking system
- Attending brainstorm meetings
- Helping with ad invoices
- Backlist Marketing:
- Assisting with backlist priorities
- Attending brainstorm meetings
- Mass Market and Mass Merch Marketing:
- Helping the team prepare for Mass Market planning meetings with the sales force
Qualifications:
Specific training or job experience required includes:
- Completion of university or college education, or possess equivalent/relevant work experience in the areas of marketing, communications or publishing
- Interest in marketing or publishing
- Applicants must be eligible to work and be paid in Canada
