Description
Overseeing database development and modification efforts.

  • Designing and maintaining data systems and databases, includes fixing coding errors and other datarelated problems.
  • Mining and reorganizing data from primary and secondary sources in a functional manner.
  • Maintaining data dictionary by revising and entering definitions.
  • Using statistical tools to interpret data sets, paying particular attention to trends and patterns that could be valuable for diagnostic and predictive analytics efforts.
  • Gathering, organizing and interpreting statistical data from the database to provide trends and prediction reports to Senior Management.
  • Collecting and documenting user requirements; confirming project requirements by studying user requirements; Managing and resolving all customer queries; providing all data extraction techniques for various businesses.
  • Analyzing results using statistical techniques and preparing ongoing reports.
  • Designing and evaluating efficient backup recovery process for various databases.
  • Protecting database by developing access system; specifying user level of access.
  • Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
  • Application and server maintaining and supporting.
  • Monitoring, troubleshooting and resolving systemrelated issues.
  • Providing technical computer support and services to all staff as required in a timely manner.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.

Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or relevant field.
  • Prior experiences working with ETL and data migration are required.
  • Must have strong Oracle PL/SQL programming skills.
  • Strong knowledge of relational database design (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL etc) and data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security and monitoring).
  • Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining.
  • Experience with reporting packages and programming (Java, Python etc.)
  • Ability to analyze existing tools and databases and provide software solution recommendations.
  • Ability to understand frontend users' requirements skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Chinese.
  • Excellent problemsolving, analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
