Qualifications:
- Completion of a three (3) year diploma in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience, Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science preferred
- Successful completion of professional certifications such as ISACA, (CISM), (ISC)
- CISSP or (ISC)2 HCISPP, ISACA, ISO27001 Preferred
- Five (5) years of experience in technology including software development lifecycle and systems support
- Minimum of 1 year experience in the hospital environment with health care data and insight into legislation and mandated activities
- Experience with vulnerability and patch management processes, procedures and technologies
- Experience with integrating Microsoft technology with security related technologies such as SIEM and vulnerability management
- Excellent technical and programming skills; preferably experience with one or more of PHP, JAVA, SQL, as well as relational databases, e.g. Oracle, MySQL
- Experience with change management principles and the ability to engage and involve stakeholders
- Experience with capacity planning, risk mitigation strategies and information security principles
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance multiple and competing priorities
- Excellent verbal, written and listening skills, including technical documentation experience
- Commitment to superior customer service
- Advanced experience with industrystandard operating procedures
- Experience with clinical processes, noemnclature and the hospital environment an asset
- Strong skills in process centrric thinking and workgroup facilitation skills
- Works well under pressure
- Ability to provide after hours and oncall coverage
- Demonstrated flexibility, adaptability and ability to manage change
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to the principles of patient and family centred care
- Demonstrated knowledge of and commitment to patient and staff safety at LHSC
- Demonstrated ability to attend work on a regular basis
Immunization Requirements:
- Provide vaccination records or proof of immunity against measles, mumps, rubella and varicella (chicken pox), Hepatitis B, Tetanus/ Diphtheria/Polio; Meningitis.
- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step) and COVID vaccine series.
