Britannia Fleet Services provides comprehensive trailer & truck repair, preventative maintenance, and custom fabrication to large and small fleets. We maintain and service all types of tractors, trailers, containers, and chassis.

As a fast-growing company, we are looking to add an ambitious and personable Parts Manager to join our winning team.


As the Parts Manager, you will be a crucial force in ensuring the smooth operations of the parts department by providing guidance, building rapport, and aiding our customers, service department, and technicians.

You will be the primary support for the procurement and sales of truck parts and will oversee the same for trailer parts.


WORK HOURS:


  • Monday to Friday, 8am 5pm

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITES:


  • Provide reliable support to the Parts and Service Department
  • Lead the parts team by example with regards to quality of work, efficiency, and safety
  • Maintains positive work relationships with all coworkers, and vendors
  • Ensure work environment complies with company health and safety procedures
  • Provide feedback to management regarding customer needs, concerns, and satisfaction
  • Keep the yard, warehouse, and sales area clean, orderly, and wellstocked
  • Responsible for price management to achieve gross margin targets
  • Support technicians and service advisors in securing required parts to complete work orders
  • Order parts in line with operational needs and chase suppliers
  • Safeguard inventory against shrinkage and spot check inventories on a regular basis
  • Respond to inperson and over the phone customer inquiries with urgency and professionalism
  • Ensure shipping and receiving is prompt and accurate
  • Filing and processing shipping and receiving documents
  • Timely processing of returns and credits
  • Prepares documentation for returns, warranty and other duties as required
  • Assist in annual physical inventory
  • Handle warranty claims processing related to parts issues, and complete all relevant administration promptly and accurately, including customer records and invoicing
  • Warehousing which includes picking emergency/stock orders, putting away stock orders and other duties as required within the Parts department
  • Other duties as assigned by the Vice-President, General Manager

QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of truck and trailer components and repair
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a parts role (heavy equipment/transportation)
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Experience handling warranty is an asset
  • Health and Safety experience is an asset
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliable means of transportation to and from work

$65,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
