- Two (2) year diploma in a business or accounting field preferred.
- Two (2) years previous experience in a municipal accounting environment considered an asset.
- Cash handling and office procedures experience.
- Demonstrated customer service skills; excellent communications skills both written and oral.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Applications, including Word and Excel; use of Vadim program considered an asset.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Deputy Treasurer or designate, responsible for processing day to day accounts payable transactions ensuring that all municipal accounts are maintained in an effective and up to date manner; compiles, processes and maintains accurate accounts payable records for processing cheques and EFT payments. Also responsible for receptionist/cashier services to the public; receiving and processing payments for utilities, taxes and municipal accounts.
