    Position Summary

    The Coordinator of co-packing is responsible for interpreting material plans and feedback, preparing and maintaining the production schedule for the Ready-to-Drink (RTD) and Ready-to-Serve (RTS) business. In collaboration with others, develops production schedules for RTD & RTS component items, based on equipment, labor and raw material availability.

    Note: This is a cont r act position fo r app r oximately 1 year, no benefits.

    Key Responsibilities

    • OHSA - Ensure compliance of Occupational Health & Safety Act (section 25, 26, 27, and 28) per Hiram Walker & Son's Ltd Policy- Management-Supervision-Worker Safety Responsibilities.
    • Plans and establishes RTD & RTS production schedule to meet customer demands, sales forecasts and customer delivery requirements.
    • Tracks progress of RTD & RTS production and updates schedules as necessary. Communicates schedules to Operations personnel and tracks factors which affect production.
    • Works closely with Operations team to ensure product is produced and packed to meet customer requirements.
    • Coordinates with the Purchasing department to meet an objective RTD & RTS production schedule for the facility.
    • Estimates production time taking several Operations factors into consideration.
    • Examines the status of each order by reviewing work-in-process, open orders, material status, over-dues, etc.
    • Audits work-in-process for potential short yields, order closing, abnormal delays, and progress, and advises Operations of problems and requests corrective actions.
    • Develop schedule to minimize overtime and change overs to maximize efficiency.
    • Maintains long-range strategy keeping customer service and purchasing in mind.

    Required Skills & Abilities:

    • Experience working in a manufacturing environment
    • Understanding of MRP planning process linked to bottling operations
    • Demonstrated ability and understanding of forecasts/forecasting and inventory management
    • Experience with Business/ERP Systems
    • Strong analytical skills and understanding of data management
    • Excellent ability to work in a fast-paced environment
    • Customer focused and detail oriented
    • Adept at managing competing priorities, demands and conflicting requests
    • Advanced Excel skills

    Education

    • Required: College Diploma, Business/Technical
    • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree, Business/Technical
