What's the Role?

  • Coordinate and execute traditional media campaigns (such as digital and physical print, radio, or outofhome) for all OSEG brands, including, but not limited to, Ottawa 67's, Ottawa REDBLACKS, TD Place Events (where requested), OSEG Foundation, and Ottawa Christmas Market;
  • Oversee the creation of digital media campaigns for all OSEG brands, working closely with internal Digital Advertising & Activations Coordinator on execution;
  • Work with internal and external clients on publications, using internal marketing resources;
  • Track campaign budgets and spend across media flights, utilizing contra and cash;
  • Ensure marketing messages are clear and properly formatted, UTM tagged links are in place, creative is proofed both internally and externally, and all content reflects branding guidelines;
  • Implement both traditional and digital marketing best practices into campaigns, while remaining up to date on all industry trends;
  • Review and analyze competitor reports and campaigns to understand brand implications and trends;
  • Track and analyze weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reports, identify drivers, and make recommendations for improvement, including postmortem reporting of all media campaigns.

What's Needed?

  • Postsecondary degree in a related field;
  • 23 years of experience in marketing, digital marketing, or traditional media planning;
  • Comprehension of radio rankers, reach, and alignment;
  • Comprehension of market demographics;
  • Knowledge of sport;
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills;
  • Ability to work on a deadline, handling multiple tasks at once with great attention to detail;
  • Attention to detail; thorough, and a datadriven mindset;
  • Proven ability to detect and troubleshoot;
  • Innovator, someone who challenges the statusquo and is ultra creative;
  • A working knowledge of written French is considered an asset, but not required.
