    Description

    VENOR is thrilled to collaborate with Graphite Innovation Technologies (GIT) in their quest for a Logistics Manager. Graphite Innovation and Technologies Inc. (GIT) is a company dedicated to sustainable coatings, driving environmental change in the maritime transportation industry. They are a forward-thinking organization committed to social and environmental stewardship.

    At GIT, a wide array of user-friendly, graphene-based coatings are offered, free of biocides and copper, supporting ESG directives, advancing eco-friendly shipping campaigns, and tackling industry hurdles related to new regulations.

    With a primary focus on the XGIT coating range to enhance fuel efficiency, promote decarbonization, and minimize underwater noise, ship operators can optimize vessel performance while meeting sustainability objectives.

    We are in search of a dynamic and seasoned Logistics Manager to join our team. In this position, you will lead logistics strategies, guarantee smooth operations, and foster strong relationships with internal and external partners at GIT.

    • Manage and enhance logistics processes, aiming for top-notch practices.
    • Ensure prompt completion and upkeep of shipping documentation.
    • Collaborate with booking agents, carriers, and freight forwarders.
    • Oversee freight brokerage, 3PL providers, and orders in conjunction with the sales team.
    • Handle commercial and trucking paperwork, shipping records, and processing protocols.
    • Work closely with internal teams to share vital insights on logistics/freight.
    • Monitor delivery timetables and promptly address any delays.
    • Supervise ISO-related logistics paperwork and procedures.
    • Hands-on experience in manufacturing, warehousing, and distribution facilities.
    • Possess a safety-oriented approach with risk assessment skills.
    • Hold a minimum college diploma with a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience.

    ~ A supply chain and/or logistics diploma is preferred.

    ~ 3 to 5 years of experience in a comparable manufacturing or warehouse environment.

    ~ Proficiency in MS Office applications.

    ~ Knowledge of shipping documentation and procedures.
