Crew Pay Analyst to join our rapidly expanding, dynamic
Flight Operations team


This is a temporary, 3 month contract with an immediate start.

WHAT THE ROLE ENTAILS


The Crew Pay Analyst is responsible for providing, auditing and tracking accurate and timely pay for Crew Members while ensuring compliance with Pilot and Cabin Crew compensation policies on a semi-monthly basis.


What You Will Be Doing

  • Process accurate and timely payroll hours and adjustments for all Flight Crew in compliance with the respective Compensation and Scheduling Policy on a semimonthly basis with a tight deadline.
  • Identify and resolve system driven pay discrepancies through daily audits to maintain compliance with the scheduling manuals and proactive issue resolution.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service support by resolving issues and discrepancies brought forward by Flight Crew members in a timely fashion.
  • Partner with Crew Resources, Payroll, Crew Scheduling and Flight Operations to calculate and ensure accurate pay.
  • Provide daily tracking of crewmembers' schedules and pay credits in accordance with Flight pay guidelines.
  • Immediate and ontime calculation of final pay for terminating crew members via manual audit and database adjustments to ensure submission to the payroll department for processing per the appropriate Canada law timelines.
  • Monthly audits and continued maintenance to ensure accurate Sick and Vacation balances, usage, and accruals for all crew members.
  • Semimonthly auditing of sick usage to mitigate over usage.
  • Monthly audits and processing of payroll adjustments for Leave of Absences (LOA).
  • Manual audits and adjustments for Fatigue calls based on final decisions made by Fatigue Review Committees.
  • Support the Chief Pilots Offices by providing research and immediate resolution when able, of any disputes regarding crew pay.
  • Ensure consistent and timely communication to provide crew members with information related to changes or other scenarios affecting the processing of pay.
  • Other duties/projects as assigned.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE:


Experience:


  • 1+ year experience with Time & Attendance
  • Experience working in a Crew related field is an asset
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent ability to focus on details with demonstrated accuracy and analytical skills.
  • Ability to display the highest level of professionalism, confidentiality, and integrity.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to focus under pressure to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to display a high level of selfdiscipline and motivation as needed to interact effectively with all levels of personnel.
  • Demonstrated conflict resolution skills.
  • While primarily administrative hours, must have the availability to work varying shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays should that be necessary.
  • Ability to treat all individuals with fairness and respect and act in accordance with Lynx Air Standards.
  • Selfstarter and demonstrated ability to be discreet in matters of confidential information.
  • Always uphold a high level of customer service for Lynx Air's crew members

Preferred Requirements:


  • Airline experience.
  • Working knowledge of CARs as they pertain to crew scheduling operations.
  • Working knowledge of current crew management and scheduling systems.

Physical Abilities

  • Must have vision ability to view and read computer displays on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to perform work duties from limited space workstation / desk / office area for extended periods of time
  • Ability to communicate and interact with others in the English language to meet the demands of the job.
