    Description

    Our client, who is a prestigious public accounting firm centrally located in Ottawa, is looking for a Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

    Preparing and analyzing financial statements and disclosures for tax-related matters
    Collaborating on tax planning and compliance strategies for various engagements
    Compiling comprehensive working paper files to support personal and corporate income tax returns
    Completing intricate corporate and personal income tax returns
    Offering prompt responses to client inquiries within the context of tax engagements
    Working closely with engagement teams, providing updates on project progress
    Providing guidance and mentorship to junior tax professionals
    CPA or in the final stages
    At least one year of experience in a tax related role within public accounting
    Comprehensive understanding of diverse facets of taxation, encompassing income tax returns, tax planning, and compliance strategies
    Passion and enthusiasm for the intricacies of tax consulting and a perpetual learning atmosphere
