    Role Overview:

    We're seeking an experienced Emissions Analyst to join our dynamic team.

    The ideal candidate will have experience in emissions quantification and compliance reporting, with a strong emphasis on the Alberta Technology Innovation and Emissions Reduction (TIER) system and other Output-Based Pricing Systems (OBPS)s. This role involves the application of expertise in air quality assessments, possess advanced Excel skills, and demonstration of a proactive approach to environmental solutions.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Conduct detailed emissions quantification and develop comprehensive compliance reports for clients, focusing on the Alberta TIER system and other OBPS requirements.

    Federal Greenhouse Gas Reporting Program (GHGRP) and National Pollutant Release Inventory (NPRI) submission.

    Utilize advanced Excel functions for data analysis, modeling, and reporting purposes.

    Stay informed of regulatory changes and advise clients on compliance strategies.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated environmental solutions.

    Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities related to air quality and environmental compliance.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.

    Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in air quality consulting, including emissions quantification and compliance reporting.

    In-depth knowledge of the Alberta TIER system, OBPS, and related environmental regulations.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros, and data visualization tools.

    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
