    Description
    *Controller/Senior Bookkeeper*Markham, Ontario

    85-100K (dep. on level of experience)

    In office role Mon-Fri 8:00am-4:30pm.

    Manufacturing/Industrial Environment


    This role would be suitable for a Controller from a small business or a Senior Bookkeeper who has handled some Controller functions.

    *Responsibilities*· Full cycle accounting; A/R, A/P, Collections, Invoicing, Bank Reconciliations, Depositing Cheques and General Ledger

    • Monthly P & L and revenue reporting on costs and expenses incurred
    • Year-end preparation
    • WSIB, HST and Government Remittances
    • Ensuring all installer and contractors are eligible for WSIB and deduct payments as required
    • Weekly and bi-weekly payroll, including commission calculations and issuing of T4's and ROE;s
    • Handle lease/rent payments and manage sub lease tenants and communications with landlord
    • Prepare and submit weekly reports to Owner
    • Research, review and pursue any eligible Grant programs
    • Maintain records on contra deals and referral fees
    • Work with Purchasing on pricing and contracts
    • Prepare new hire/job offer contracts
    • Other special projects as assigned
    *Qualifications*· Post secondary education in Accounting or Finance

    • Min of 5 years experience in Controller or Senior level role
    • Manufacturing industry experience is required
    • Computer proficiency with MS Office (Excel) and AccountingEdge Pro
    • Excellent organization and time management skills
    • Strong communication skills

    Pay:
    $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
