Reporting directly to the Manager of Demand Planning, this position is responsible for analyzing and forecasting inbound receipts by freight mode at a week to annual level to ensure strategic KPIs are met.
With a holistic view of the company's short and long-term strategic plans, the key objectives are to optimize inventory and execute against growth plans and strategic initiatives, drive cross-functional alignment on challenges, opportunities, and execution roadmaps, and evolve and build new processes to elevate our overall planning model.
A day in the life- Track and report on freight usage (Airfreight, Ocean etc.) to Product teams, and any other teams deemed relevant.
- Own forecasting of freight mode usage by month, quarter, and year; inclusive of strategic plans and inventory KPIs
- Collaborate closely with Sourcing, Inbound Logistics, and Finance teams to gather key inputs to the Freight Forecast and share updates monthly, and at key milestones
- Prepare agenda items and presentation materials for weekly and monthly leadership review meetings
Qualifications:
- 25 years proven experience with data analysis
- Previous experience with merchandise, planning, and/or logistics systems
- Expert knowledge of Excel is required.
