The position is required to utilize advanced communication skills working in conjunction with partners such as ICBC, Driver's Service Centers and Police.
This position is also responsible for the file management of high-profile judicial review cases while working closely with members of the Legal Services Branch as well as client legal counsel.
The Intake Agent provides exceptional client service via telephone while dealing with sometimes difficult and emotionally charged situations. The work requires analytical thinking and teamwork to meet demands and respond promptly to changing priorities and deadlines.Job Requirements:
- Grade 12 graduation or equivalent (i.e., GED)
- Minimum one (1) year of experience providing client service in an adversarial environment dealing with the diversified public.
- Experience working with confidential or highly sensitive matters. Experience working in a highvolume processing environment, entering data in various computer software programs.
Preference may be given to applicants with:
- Experience working in a call centre environment Experience working with the Motor Vehicle Act
About this Position:
An eligibility list may be established to fill future temporary and permanent positions throughout the Appeals Registry and Client Services areas.
