    Description

    Your Opportunity:

    • Working under the supervision of the Eating Disorder Program Manager, the nurse will provide care to patients with eating disorders and their families.
    • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, the nurse will deliver compassionate nursing care using professional knowledge.
    • Responsibilities include medical monitoring, meal support therapy, mental health assessments, and more.

    Description:

    • As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will offer a wide range of nursing services while ensuring patient safety.
    • You will use critical thinking to provide holistic patient care and health promotion.
    • Provisional Permit Holders rate of pay will be adjusted upon entry into the Register of Registered Nurses.
    • Posting may close earlier if a Regular Employee expresses interest.
    • This posting may be used to fill multiple similar vacancies.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Completion of an accredited nursing program.
    • Active registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
    • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).
    • If no practice in the last five years, completion of specified courses is required.

    Additional Required Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in addictions and handling medical complications related to eating disorders.
    • Ability to provide treatment, assess difficulties, and intervene in emergencies.
    • Proficiency in psychiatric and medical assessments.
