Job Summary

To ensure that the decision making activities and performance improvement initiatives are supported by providing highly specialize financial information.

To prepare analyses and reports to facilitate the integration of financial information into the operational groups' performance. Support strategic and tactical planning processes as required.

Job Responsibilities
Responsible for the financial analysis of operational groups and identifying areas requiring attention through management reports. Contribute to the Periodic Reporting Packages in a timely manner. Assist management in establishing financial requirements and challenges for continuous performance improvement.
A financial leader who provides support through a myriad of methods, including presentations at various leadership team forums.
Responsible for the coordination and analysis of the annual work plan/budget for the related functional groups.
Design, develop and deliver new reporting methodologies to support business initiatives. Create appropriate tools and models to facilitate effective operational cost management.

Undertakes appropriate analysis, in a proactive manner, in order to provide meaningful reporting to management for the purpose of effective decision-making and operational benchmarking of business activities.

Utilizes advanced financial techniques to identify and recommend alternative courses of action with respect to profitability and operating efficiency.

Responds to highly complex and unconventional queries from internal clients, by providing the appropriate information to support the business needs.

Manages change through effective communication and teamwork.
Completes special projects as required.
Responds to internal and external inquiries, as required.
Support internal control policies.
Works in a safe manner collaborating as a team member to achieve all outcomes.

Job Requirements
Education
Business related a university degree and a recognized accounting designation (CPA, CGA/CMA).
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Strong technical proficiency in all aspects of MS Windows - Excel PowerPoint, Word, Access & Project.
Strong technical proficiency with SAP FICO, MM and SD modules.

Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to present concepts at all levels in an organization, particularly at the senior management level.

Project management skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player.
Strong ability to anticipate management information requirements.
Ability to identify opportunities for improvement in a timely and effective manner.
Able to work independently in a proactive manner.
Excellent organizational abilities.
Experience
5 years management accounting experience in a manufacturing environment.
Pharmaceutical experience preferred
