Reporting to the Manager of Compliance, the Administrative Assistant position within the Quality Assurance and Compliance Department is responsible for supporting the day-to-day activities of the department through administrative, data management, communication, and policy implementation tasks.
Job Duties would include but are not limited to:
- Administrative support with annual Ministry audits.
- Administrative support managing ISP designation requirements.
- Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, records, and databases related to policy procedures (academic misconduct, nonacademic misconduct etc.)
- Retrieve and compile data or reports as requested.
- Create presentations for stakeholders as directed.
- Create training documents related to policy implementation.
- Manage the database for student academic misconducts.
- Manage the database for student nonacademic misconducts.
- Manage the training/ certifications records.
- Coordinate internal communication related to appeal panels.
- Policy revision proofreading.
- Review academic documents/ policies/ procedures for revisions as directed.
- Audit academic and nonacademic procedures and associated files as directed.
- Maintain confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment within a Post-Secondary Education setting is preferred
- Experience working with International Students is an asset
- Passionate to meet and exceed established metrics; proficiency in the use of spreadsheets and calculation of statistics
- Great attention to detail and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Good problem identification and conflict resolution skills.
- Good planning and organizational skills with ability to prioritize competing projects and meet timelines.
- Detail orientated and meticulous handling of ongoing projects and tasks
- Flexibility to travel between Campus locations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
This position is expected to work on-site at the College's campuses; _
this is NOT a remote position_
