Positions are available on the road in Ontario, British Columbia & Alberta
Plumbing Apprentice Duties
- Under the direction of the site foreman: move/haul material, pull water lines, fire caulking, thread pipe and assist with any other tasks required.
- Second year apprentices will independently: thread pipe, install laundry boxes, with supervision: begin drainage, soldering, assembling tub valves and assist with any other tasks required.
- Perform other duties as required
Plumbing Journeyperson Duties
- Work under the direction of the assigned Site Foreman
- Manages his/her Assigns tasks, planning, organizing materials
- Locate and mark the positions for connections and fixtures
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, clamp, solvent cement or solder pipe
- Assemble and install valves and fittings
- Install sanitary and water piping system
- Read building plans and specifications to determine the layout for the plumbing and other materials
- Implements inhouse quality, safety and internal policy & procedures, standards and/or specifications
- Mentor/train crew members
- Perform other duties as required
Sheet Metal Apprentice Duties
- Under the direction of a site foreman.
- Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair the sheet metal heating for ventilating and air conditioning systems
- Perform other duties as required
Sheet Metal Journeyperson Duties
- Work under the direction of the assigned Site Foreman
- Manages his/her Assigns tasks, planning, organizing materials
- Installation of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems
- Custom or small run fabrication of a variety of sheet metal items
- Install and repair sheet metal products and ensure installations conform to specifications and building codes
- Supply, install, service and repair air handling equipment, furnaces, fans, air terminal devices and split system air conditioners
- Implements inhouse quality, safety and internal policy & procedures, standards and/or specifications
- Mentor/train crew members
- Perform other duties as required
Plumbing Apprentice Skills and Abilities
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strength, stamina, and the use of proper lifting techniques required to handle heavy tools and parts weighing up to 25 kilograms
- Ability to visualize a finished product from a document
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and do some moderately heavy lifting and carrying
- Ability to work in high, awkward, and noisy places
- Ability to work alone or with others
- The ability to contribute to a highly teamoriented environment
- Strong communication skills
Plumbing Journeyperson Skills and Abilities
- Mechanical aptitude
- Strength, stamina and the use of proper lifting techniques required to handle heavy tools and parts weighing up to 25 kilograms
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and do some moderately heavy lifting and carrying

- Problemsolving, conflictresolution and critical thinking skills

- High work ethic and dedication to the company and the client

Job Requirements
- Steel toed footwear
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License or access to transportation
