- Initiate notifications and follow up on work order completion with maintenance group to sustain operations.
- Operate the facility in a safe and effective manner, while working collaboratively as part of the operating team.
- Provide notifications to the area supervisor of operating cost impacts and if required support effective solutions to mitigate impacts.
- Perform daily site inspections, complete area logs and records (e.g., volume balances, log sheets, work permits and hazard assessments)
- Support operations performed maintenance activities, support maintenance contractors and vendors by communicating HMGP requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Complete the applicable modules for the CAP-O program.
- Ensure industry safety tickets are kept current.
- Ensure appropriate operating procedures are reviewed and adhered to, complete reviews and provide feedback on procedures based on the assigned review cycle.
- Participate in Emergency response training, continual fire training compliance.
- Adhere to and promote HRO principles.
- Obtain and maintain a rail operations certificate to support the rail operations at the Terminal.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
- Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Secondary technical diploma or Journeyman certification in electrical, mechanical or Instrumentation are considered an asset.
- Experience in operations of crude oil storage and blending facilities and all associated processes and systems.
- Knowledge of Microsoft excel, work, outlook, etc.
- Experience working with SAP.
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- This is a safety sensitive position and will be subject to the relevant requirements of the Cenovus Drug and Alcohol policy which includes pre-assignment testing.

The role of the Field Operator is to be responsible for the ongoing safe, compliant, and cost-effective operation of the Lloydminster Terminal. This will include NGL operation, pipeline terminal operation, and pump stations. This person will interface with Lloydminster Control Room personnel, Midstream engineering staff, construction and service companies, trucking/ rail companies and maintenance personnel.

About Husky Midstream (HMGP):
Husky Midstream owns and operates approximately 2,200 kilometers of pipeline in the Lloydminster region, 5.9 million barrels of oil storage capacity at Hardisty, Alberta and Lloydminster, Alberta, and other ancillary infrastructure assets. It is responsible for blending Western Canadian Select, the benchmark for heavy Canadian crude oil.
