    Description
    Founded in 1948, Construction Specialties (CS) is a specialty building products manufacturer. CS provides solutions to building challenges that architects, designers, building owners, facility managers, and contractors face every day.

    Our products are a part of some of the most iconic buildings around the world–from the world's tallest tower, Burj Khalifa in Dubai, to the Oculus at the World Trade Center Transit Hub in Manhattan.

    Plans, conducts and review Structural Design Analysis for all exterior aluminum products.

    Familiar how to read and coordinate between different drawings, standard concepts, practices and procedures within Structural Engineering and applies them to accomplish goals.

    Proficient with structural design analysis programs; RISA-3D, SAP2000,
    High knowledge of Canadian and US building codes and design manuals.
    High experience working with latest AutoCAD and Microsoft Office packages.

    Ability to work with multiple projects and flexible to change tasks with short time notice.
    Coordinate products shop drawings, manufacturing, installation, support, and documentation to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and design requirements.

    Generates AutoCAD details based on conceptual sketches or needs to develop custom design to meet the needs of the customers.

    Bachelor of Science degree in Structural Engineering (MS preferred).
    Minimum 10 years of structural design analysis with aluminum and steel structures.
    Must perform as a flexible team member and be a proficient leader and developer of technical people
    Working knowledge of Finite Element Analysis and related software
    Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks
    Knowledge of installation, machining and welding techniques.
